Apollo is a full site editing WordPress theme suitable for business and personal websites.

Theme installation

Unzip file apollo_unzip_first.zip that you downloaded from us and install apollo.zip file. Read more how to install a theme → 

Required plugins

JVM rich text icons: This plugin is used to add inline icons to rich text fields like: paragraphs, headings, lists or buttons anywhere in the Gutenberg block editor. 

Contact Form 7: This plugin is required to create a contact form. The theme includes styling for this plugin.

Please install these plugins before importing the demo content.

Making theme look like demo

Inside the package you will find a file named apollo.WordPress.xml that you can use to import the demo content. Read more how to make theme look like the demo 

Editing theme elements

Apollo is a full site editing theme, thus you can edit most element from the front end. In your Dashboard go to Appearance → Editor and there you can select and edit any element you like, change their color, font etc.

Front page configuration

The front page of the website uses a Page with large header template.  Learn how to display a static page in front 

You can edit the header section from the visual editor as explained above. To remove the animated elements, select the whole header and from the Advanced block options delete the ‘animatedheader‘ class.

Apollo header

Apollo comes with a set of pre-designed patterns to enable you to display content in an attractive way. Learn how to add block patterns 

The available patterns are:

Services pattern: This pattern displays a set of services in three columns with header using icons.

Featured portfolio: This pattern displays a column of text in the left with title and button and two images in the right. Combined with an animated background.

Partners: This pattern displays logos of your partners or clients in four columns.

Team members: This pattern displays profiles of your team members using images text and their social media accounts.

  • All these patterns are grouped under the Apollo patterns section when you select patterns. Use any of these patterns in any page you like, as many times as you want.

Animated blocks

Apollo enables you to animate any block when entering the screen using css3 animations by adding classes. Learn how to add animations 

Page templates

  • Page Large Header: Page with large header to display in front.
  • Default: Page with small header for interior pages.
  • Blank: Empty page to unleash your own creativity
