In some instances, depending on the theme you are using you need to attach images to a post or page. The difference when you attach an image to a page or post is that you don’t need to display the image in the content.
This is useful when the theme you are using may provide a different way to display attached images.
- In your Dashboard go to Media. If you have not uploaded the images you want to attach, first upload them in your Media Manager.
- Click on the button in the top left corner to display your Media assets as List.
- In the right of each image, you will see the option to attach each unattached image to a post or page.
- Click Attach.
- In the new interface select the post or page you want to attach this image.
- Click Attach.
